Princess told me about a thread that's running at the Faith Writers forum, and I thought we'd give a slightly-modified version of it a try here, just for fun . Basically, the whole idea is to make a somewhat-meaningful response to the previous post in the thread, then "hijack the thread" by posting something completely different to throw the discussion off topic. The next poster will follow up on your point, then throw the discussion to something else completely different. Be sure to follow the other regular rules of the forum, of course (keep it clean, no politics, no denominational jokes, etc.) ... but other than that, have fun with it! ;D I'll reply to this thread first, to provide an example of how it's done. ;D

Hmmm, that's right -- I think that a thread like this should do pretty well here ... we have a lot of folks here who are pretty good at this already ! At least it'll give them a place where they're allowed to do it.
By the way, I finished playing Halo for PC's single-player campaign on the "Legendary" setting a couple of days ago ... finally made it all the way through! And it was worth it for the bonus video clip just before the Pillar of Autumn's nuclear reactors explode (if you've seen it, you know what I mean -- priceless! ).

I'm glad you finished the Halo Legendary game. Good job and now I have my hubby and my son back.
I am looking forward to my chapters being published in a book coming out in October. I can't wait to read that last chapter since i haven't see how the storyline comes together in it.

Yes ... you should respond appropriately to the previous post, then change the subject to anything you want ... and the next poster will do the same to you .
I do prefer the flavor (and the kick) of new Diet Pepsi Max over regular Diet Pepsi -- must be the ginseng and the extra caffeine in it. ;D

I love pop, but it makes me HYPER. I mean crazy. And speaking of crazy, what kind of instruments do you play?

Sure hope Westbrook has a great night at RB for the Eagles (I hear he'll be returning kicks too -- that'll help!). I sure need his assistance on my fantasy team, since my opponent had Carson Palmer at QB.
So, who remembers the TV show Perfect Strangers with Mark Linn-Baker and Bronson Pinchot? That was one of my favorite shows -- I sure do miss ABC's 1990's Friday night line-up of clean sitcoms ( Full House, Perfect Strangers, Family Matters, etc.) that I used to watch every week -- so much better (both funnier and cleaner) than the foul drivel that most broadcasters put out these days.

I am hoping my Canucks come out with all guns blazing.
Talking about hockey, my next point has nothing to do with it. I see the next Narnia film is coming out in May 2008.

I've discussed it in-depth with several of my friends from my last church ... they all seemed pretty interested in what we do. Too bad my extended family (parents/siblings/in-laws, that is ... Princess and the Peacelings like it) aren't as interested -- they just " " whenever I start talking about it -- they have trouble seeing it as what it really is, an online ministry and community .
I sure miss my old church since we moved ... I really miss the "Worship Arts Forum" group that met every other Monday night to discuss what worship is and how worship is made a part of the Sunday gatherings. They'll be meeting tonight in about an hour ... sure wish I could be there!

Nope, sure haven't.
Speaking of touring, did anyone see any exciting bands in concert over the summer? I saw Dream Theater on August 7th and it was perhaps the best concert I've ever been to!

Veggietales are cool. I'm not sure if the kids or myself like them better.
