Yep, the only type of "suicide" I do is a kamikaze rush into Alpha when I know theres probably 2-3 people aiming at the door. Ohh..me likes those kills.

That way, the round ends sooner (good for those who are waiting around), and the bad guys don't get the bonus kill that they weren't brave enough to earn. ;D Nothing against the old fashion suicides though, i do it all the time. Usually when i rush lower blue from LOY side i coock a nade and blow up before i get a chance to trow it. Many people will agree that i'm the suiciding king around here, nothing to be proud of tho.........where's my trophy ? ;D ...or mayby scan for suicide-binds in the user.ini file and auto-boot people who have them from our servers. Nothing radical......just an idea lol :Scratch-Chin:

I have occasionally survived a flash by throwing my weapon and laying down. If the opfor is not paying attention he may overlook you.
Another possibility is if you are the only one around pull a nade and cook it. if the timing is right you might take the opfor with you. I have never tried this, just thought of it. ;D

I dont think you can kick for it because it is just in the game and you dont have to change anything for it in your files....

I seen wierd stuff i seen a an e throw a nade and thier was a friendly and he was about five maybe seven fett he proned and lived not sure if thats an glitch or that was just luck. Actually it is not a glitch, it is an actual army strategy to throw yourself on the ground to survive a nade. When a nade explodes on the ground the fragments of it will get reflected from the ground, so you have higher chances surviving it, even when you are pretty close, when you are prone. When I play Bridge Crossing I love to cook the nades long enough so they explode a few feet in the air. Their blast radius is a lot bigger and you actually hit people that are behind those cars a lot better ;D

Hey Joe i got a question for you, when you get shot at you keep crushing and jumping to avoid getting hit. Where did you configurate your crush-key ? I'm having a bit of a problem to do this because i use the default keys. AZES for movement and C for crushing.

I use the arrow keys for forward, backwards, strafe left, and strafe right. With that being said, I use the right control to crouch - not crush - and right shift to go prone. So when I'm being shot at or in any kind of firefight, I strafe left and right while crouching up and down, plus shooting. It's slightly hard to master and keep the aim center-focused on your opponent, but you get used to it and adapt.

Wow, interesting controls. I'm sticking to my regular ZBoard controls.

Thanks for the help, i think AA allows me to have 2 key's for 1 action so i'll give it a go (...this way i can keep my original setup) ....and yes i ment to say crouch, english isn't my first language as you can see greetz Marco

Well I always believe you should go with whatever you're comfortable with. I've always used the arrow keys for FPS's and any other game that involves moving characters like that. I never liked the WASD setup.

Well.. Hi. This is my first post here in Of-God forum and i have a tip to spare... Well.. Green is you.. throwing a smoke nade(red) in A, then running to tunnel entrance, that way to A and then secure the objetive... I have used this quite many times and this has worked for me many times:) Hi again and lets hope you will use that tip:) Thank you:)

Thanks for sharing that with us Riisman_EST, never thought about doing that before. Often enough you only need the A objective but risk too much by going in trough the 2 doors. We all know how hard it can be to get into alpha when there are people there defending the object. ({C4C}Justice, RightWing, ect... )

I got another one which might help some of the new players to get a better FR in Close Quarter Battle (CQB). Due to the fact that the information the AA client is sending to the server needs some time you actually need to lead more when in QCB (the closer your target is) than the further your target is away. So if you are wondering why you dont hit your target even though you are emptying your mag right in his face, try aiming in front of him, in the direction he is moving. How far in front you have to aim depends on many different variables (server lag, the state of your own internet connection, etc.) - So practise this and you will find the right distance to lead.
On stable targets - continue shooting right in his face (brain ;D).
Of course the whole thing is a lot easier if you got the SAW. Just track the SAW in front of your target and sweep so you make sure you get a few hits in (lead and sweep).
Also, shoot less and move more yourself. If you move and also change directions it will be harder for your opponent to get the lead on you. What is even better about this is that he will shoot his mag empty and you can stop jumping about and shoot him while he is reloading. Make sure he does not have a SAW though, else you have to jump around for quite a while ;D
And another thing which has been said before but which has to be stressed: pick up those OPFOR weapons, they do so much more dam. Secure the area first though, I get shot too often while picking up that AK.

I don't use any other gun but the M16, its the most accurate and easy to use IMHO.
