UPDATED TODAY!! Check it out at ofgod.proboards48.com/index.cgi?board=memberlist -- there have been some major improvements since the original version (plus, a lot of members have submitted their additional information -- members, if you haven't yet, get the bag off your head and then go post your information ). CHANGES IN THIS UPDATE: • The design and layout was changed slightly to make it more cohesive with the rest of the forum's look and feel. • A new feature has been added to enable you to print a list of all members, with their names and current clan status. Look for this button between the filter table and the info card: Clan members will recognize the output format as strongly resembling the "Names.xls" and "Names.pdf" files; those lists are hereby discontinued, as you can now print the most recent update any time you want it! The layout has been extended to four columns now, to keep it all on one printed page; also, only the member-group is color-coordinated to the forum groups (rather than the names as well), to make it easier to read for those with color printers . There is still a slight bug in the output, for FireFox users -- once the list shows, you will need to hit ESC to stop its loading before you print it (haven't figured out yet why it keeps trying to load after it's all loaded). However, it prints equally well from FF or IE. If you have any more suggestions for improving the member list (or if you can solve that FF load problem ), let me know!

NOTE: Updated again! At the "innovative" suggestion of Dan, I added the AAOTracker online/offline/away status indicator to the file card, immediately after the AAOTracker ID # (I may move it around a bit, later, but it's good for now ). This will show you whether or not that member is currently playing AA (or was doing so within the last few minutes, at least).

Okay the Dossier viewer is very good the way it is and no one is allowed to suggest anything more for at least another week and a half (jk).

Hmm. Here's an idea. How about getting everyone's estimated idea of how long they've played AA?
You could call it "Estimated Length of Service" or something not so corny. Lol.

Sorry, no way to automate it (or to automate an honor-level indicator, as a member suggested via PM) -- I'm not going to track all that manually (don't have time to do so any more, like I did when we only had 40 members).

No, I just meant everyone posting what month/year they started playing AA and having that added to their dossier.

No, I just meant everyone posting what month/year they started playing AA and having that added to their dossier. Most of us can't remember back that far, Joe :haha: -- I even had to estimate my date of joining the clan, since I couldn't remember exactly when it was and couldn't find any documentation of it. I have no clue as to when I actually started playing!

I'm not sure it's all that important when everybody started playing, but there are a couple of ways to guesstimate. If you remember which version you started at, this will get you in the neighborhood:
If you still have your first account (as I do) it says in the account manager when it was created.

If you still have your first account (as I do) it says in the account manager when it was created. Well, yeah -- except for those of us who have been playing since before the great database rebuild / honorlevel restructuring on October 30, 2003 -- because the only date that we see on our "account created" date is 30-OCT-03. Anyway, I think that the more important date is already covered in the dossiers -- how long the person has been a member of the clan. Prior experience may be impressive, but as far as the -=Of-God=- Clan is concerned, your account was born on the day that you joined the clan. ;D

I don't know what the old way looked like, wasn't here then, but I sure do appreciate the way the new one is set up. It's "clan members at a glance"! Good job to all that worked on it! Bro Jeff a.k.a. [shadow=red,left,300][glow=red,2,300] †_FC_†™[/glow][/shadow]
