Well I have been going to church since 9 months before I was born
sorry had to put that little joke in there.
I grew up in church. During one sunday night service in May of 1992 we were having the Lord's Supper. I wanted to take part in it, but my parents wouldn't let me. I was angry and pitched a fit. (I was 4) When we got home I asked why I couldn't have the Lord's Supper. The replied that it is only for those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. They then shared the Romans road with me and asked me if I wanted to accept Jesus into my heart. Well I was still angry from earlier that night and I said no. Not only did I say no to my parents but I said no to God. Well God then started pulling on my heartstrings and working in my life. A couple of days later I realized that I was a sinner and needed Jesus to save me. I went and told my parents that I was ready to accept Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior. They told me how I could and I asked Jesus to save me at the age of 4. I understood that it was not the prayer that saved me. but my heart trusting Jesus would do what he said he would do.
I can not say that life has been easy. In fact it has been full of bumps, ruts, and mountains. But God has always helped me and kept me safe. I have messed up several times but I know that God cares about me and is not ashamed of me no matter what I do.. Because I am His son.
I currently work at my church as a Janitor cleaning up after our School lets out. (My church has a Christian School) I also run the lights for our Church services. My favorite song is "Undo" by "Rush of Fools" in the chorus it says: Turn me around, Pick me up, Undo what I've become. Bring me back to the place of Forgiveness and Grace. I need you, I need your help, I can't do this myself. Your the only one who can undo what I've become.
This song speaks to me every time I listen to it. Because it tells about what God has done for me. He's picked me up and turned me around toward him again. And he's undone what I once was.
I know this was long but I pray that my testimony can bring someone to the Lord.
