Well, evidently there was something in that file that no one wishes to tell me about... lol Cause I sure have no idea. Anyway, it has been fun playing with ya'll, but the AASA guys say that I was cheating, so it stands that I was. But, any of you that have played with me know that I don't cheat. So, obviously AASA has the final say on these things. Anyway, like I was saying it was alot of fun getting fragged by you guys while it lasted. LOL I will miss camping in Alpha with Justice and Patience ;D And I will miss chatting with you guys on Vent! Take care and keep having fun! Hold the fort (Alpha) for me Justice even though I cannot cover your back anymore! LOL. Cya later. Take care all!

FYI: AASA does not have "the final say" in any of our clan business, no matter what Ronnie may have told you. We do accept their advice, especially in an area where they hold considerable expertise.
In your case, the file was indeed the installation file for a cheat program from an earlier version of America's Army. Whether you put it there, or your son, or your nephew, or your dog, or space aliens -- the fact remains that your computer had a file associated with a known cheat program. This is a violation of the code of conduct of the -=Of-God=- Clan (not to mention of AASA, and of AA in general).
That is why your account was banned on all AASA servers, and that is why you are no longer a member of our clan. I did enjoy the time that we spent together, but there can be no other way. Take care, and I wish you the best in the future.

Well, honestly though, I never installed any cheats for AA on my computer. The only way that it could have gotten there is if it came with the main program or the many, many patch versions that I have installed. I have never put anything else in those directories or installed any cheats for AA on my computer. Until I joined this clan, I had never even touched any of my ini files or whatever it was that Cloak posted for performance tweaks... Ronnie had gone thru all of the same patches and everything that I had and that would be why his computer had it also. In fact, I have all of the original zips sitting in a directory from the original 1.0 version all the way up with incremental patches to 2.1. So, if that file was a cheat file of some sort or an install file for a cheat of some sort then it came with one of the army files.. Cause that is all that I put in there. So, following my logic here... You are saying that the U.S. Army sent out an install file for a cheat with their game or patch? Hmmmm.... ok... The worst of it is that you will not care or believe me, and I dont blame you. But, for all the rest of you out there that read this, check your directories and have the guys here go thru it all with you to make sure that there is not a file that AASA does not think that should be in there.... No matter whether the file came with army or not... Best of luck guys! Cya later

Sorry, but files that install cheat programs do NOT get copied to your AA \System directory by the U.S. Army, or its game installation files, or SCI, or your dog, or ________ . . . . They get there when someone personally puts them there -- whether it's you or someone that you have entrusted to have access to your computer -- and that's the bottom line in the case of your ban -- you had this file that installed a cheat to AA, and you're banned because of it -- end of story.
