Hi all; I'm currently seeking recruitment into the -=Of-God=- clan, so I guess I should give you my testimony and my favorite two parts in the Bible (currently). I'm 18 years old and have just made it through the roughest period of my life, high school. But not for oblivious reason, for indirect ones; let me explain. I went to high school with the knowledge that most people who go, backslide. That is, they’re part time Christians. I don’t live in the Bible belt or even the Conservative South; I live I the moderate middle; beer city itself. I’d heard so many stories from preachers how their walk with God tanked in high school, I wasn’t ready to be one of them. I decided ahead of time that I wasn’t going to hang out w/the wrong crowd, and I didn’t. The only (large) struggle I had was with depression, as I’m prone to it. I battled my way through the emotions with God’s strength. I can remember listening to the song by Third Day ‘Cry out to Jesus’ and ‘no one else knows’ by Building 429. Now my greatest goal is to never play church, and to know God for who He is. PS The reason I refer to high school so much in this letter is because I was brought up in a church school, hence most of my Christian experience/struggles have come from high school thus far. My favorite passages in the Bible (version is flexible, I just have NIV myself). 1. (read it in the Bible here)2. (read it in the Bible here)edited to repair link for bible verses ~ marson
