I use the Creative "Fatal1ty" headset. Its worked great since ive had it, around 6 months now i think. The ones I have run about $50, but there's another version that runs about $75, with some sort of 3D sound thingie. Theyre very comfortable, and the mic can be detached if you arent using it. The only thing i dont like about it is that its not USB. its got miniplugs for the headset and the mike. Its not really all that big of a problem since i use a laptop for most of my computing, but it could be annoying if youve got a sound system already connected on your desktop... Other than that id highly recommend it

Hans and I used the Zahman's - they work great until they break (takes about 1-2 years for this to happen). Now I use a Sennheiser PX 100 and a separate Labtec mic (on the desk) to play. The headset is light and comfortable - no surround sound, but it does nicely. Of course, my FR still stinks ... but oh well, at least my ears don't hurt ;D

Do u all really play with 5.1 surround? i tried it, as i get my new headset in the past (medusa) and it wasnt nice for me. So i played with 2.1 over 2 years.

I tried a set of 5.1 medusa a year(ish) ago. I didnt like them at all whatsoever. they crackled and popped and picked up all the noise from inside the computer. very annoying. since then ive just stuck with 2.1 lol.
