I apologize in advance if this is supposed to go in the homework help section of the forums but I was wondering if anyone here that has taken the ASVAB would be able to give me any tips on it as I'm scheduled to take it today and am a bit nervous to say the least. Thanks and wish me luck

The ASVAB is really simple. It's just basically an IQ test.
Typically, I'd advise to go to your local bookseller and get the practice book (there's a large variety available) to work through the typical test scenarios.
I retook the ASVAB when I was active duty in order to get a better score to lat move to EOD. I got the workbook, practiced doing easy math quickly, and a week later tested.
Standard test taking how-to's apply here: Sleep well the night before, eat prior to going in, go to the bathroom prior to testing, don't sweat the small stuff, etc. I don't recall if the ASVAB is based on effort/cumulative or on correct responses so no advice on whether or not to rush through and mark a lot towards the end of each section.
Remember the ASVAB ~IS~ a timed test (each segment is timed) and it's normal to NOT finish.
Good luck. Just think, if you score high enough, you might be able to be a grunt. BAHAHAHAHAHA
