In fact, most of them are pretty aware of the fact that the money comes out of the Armys recruiting budget, and not the general fund, AND, its a small drop in the bucket compared to other things the government is spending money on.

Come on... Considering how liberal our government is to spend money on any old thing, the funding source for this money, and the amount compared to other expenditures, and I'd say YES, it's one of the best examples of my tax dollars working for good! However, I should invest some of that money into my skill development as I still stink... Nice find. Sam
