What are the times that most of the -=Of-God=- clan are able to play AA? Im in central time. The reason i ask is cause i would like to be on at the same time one or more of you are so i can view your tatics for that map. Maybe learn a few things and adapt to the way most or all of you play and your strategies are. Ty

I'm on the west coast (Pacific Time) and usually get some time to play before work (6:30am to 8:00am) M-F, at lunch (12pm to 1pm) M-F, and after work sometimes (5:30pm to 6:00pm). Hope to see you on.

Play? We're supposed to be playing something? Yeah, my playing time has been limited a bit recently ... having trouble focusing on things ... especially now that I've been over 4 months without a job ... but I hope to be playing a bit more in the near future. You're most likely to find me on our #2 server playing SF SnakePlain, usually in the wee hours of the early morning (midnight to 2AM Eastern).

I play erratically over the weekends, but usually only once or twice per month now because school has started for me (hooray! ... not ). When I do play, it's usually late at night when the workouts are done, the homework is squared away, and the parties are over.

Ok well thats nice to know, lol. Tyvm Guys & Gals. Speakin of Snake Plain, i would like to say an important thing, {Euphemism removed by admin} Why is that map so laggy for me? I went on it last night and you wouldnt believe the lag. There was a guy on there playin by the name of SparkStax. When he made it to the fort i was just still trying to get into the vehicle. If anyone can help me out with that i sure would appreciate it. My pc specs are 2.5 gh intel processor 1 g of ram and a 256 mb ati radeon graphics card. Ty for any help that is givin. God Bless You All NOTE: That term is not allowed in server chat or here on the forums Chris. I know you didn't mean any harm but we consider that term to be using God's name in vain.

That map is a big resource hog, to be sure, but I'm addicted to it anyway . Most of the lag issue on that map is due to the size of the map file ... it takes up a lot of video memory, so you'll probably find that the majority of the problem is from a low FPS. They could have, and should have, made the map a lot smaller (65-70% of the map area is never used in any part of the mission no matter where the objectives are, and as much as 90% of the map goes unused in any given round) . But of course, that doesn't help you any with fixing your lag issue, just with understanding it. As for fixing it ... most likely, the only thing that's going to help is a video card upgrade, or perhaps more system memory.

Nice! I get 75 ... but only in the Fort Basement tunnel -- my normal "open-air" FPS on SFSP is 10-20.

It's probably because you are running bare specs on your computer. Before my recent upgrade, playing Snakeplain was a horrible experience. Increased RAM would be the cheapest upgrade that would do the most good. If you are only running 512Mb of RAM like I was, then that is why it lags so bad. You can have the fastest internet connection in the world, but if your PC can't process the amount of information coming in and going out, it's kinda like forcing a bowling ball through a straw. I am running 2.5 Gb of RAM now and Snakeplain runs almost seamlessly. Hope this helps you to understand why you are running that map and having lag issues. Bro Jeff a.k.a. FPS 80 here, kinda around the new map. I got GeForce 7 and a AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core system. Bought it 2 weeks ago. A good PC really improves your shooting, not that I care so much, but I don't run so often into flashes anymore ;D
