Hello -=Of-God=- Clan. My name is {DoG}D1rk. I represent the {DoG} Defenders of Glory and am a high ranking leader of that clan. We have always enforced language rules and have built a reputation for running a clean server. I have started to visit your server alot lately because I like what you guys stand for and have noticed Peace as a leader on ASAA as I am a new member and an AASA admin. AASA rocks. I got on your server #1 tonight and was excited about playing some McKenna. I watched someone die kind of comically and typed in *EDITED*. I respect you guys and I know you dont have a problem getting people to play on your server but kicking people for saying *EDITED*? Thats a bit out of touch. Its your server and enjoy. I cant relate to kicking people for that. Now if I said *EDITED* then I would agree. Its your server, enjoy because this clean upstanding member of the AA community will not be returning.

It was I who kicked you and your initial comment was not why I kicked you. When I told you the acronym was unacceptable you proceeded to question my warning using the offending word in all caps. It was at this time I lost any leniancy I was initially going to bestow upon you. When you began questioning my decision and using the offensive word outright in caps I felt that I no longer was able to reason with you nor was I going to have the others in the server beget an anarchist attitude towards the Of-God's. It is mind boggling that you take a stand against our server due to rules that have been set forth, but, if you feel you must never return then se la vie.

Perhaps you cannot relate to kicking people for that on your servers. However, there are reasons that we do hold these views. First and foremost it is against the TOS from GoAA to allow such things in game. Second, it is against our Faith and is a major part of the reason that we do not allow it. Third, it is our duty as Admins and PB Deputies to protect the people that come to play that do not wish to see that type of thing on our servers. We are also protecting the young children that play on our servers. We have many young people that play, including many in our Clan. It is unfortunate that you cannot understand and do not wish to play on the servers with us. This is your choice, however our choice will always be to first provide an example of God and then to protect the people playing from the abusive behaviors that most certainly comes from allowing profanity on the servers.

Yes exactly. I asked you if you were warning me for saying *EDIT* because I was astonished that anyone would consider that foul language. Like I said I respect you guys and your rules. If anybody can relate to them I can because {DoG} has run a servers for years with strict language rules. The practice of kicking someone for the word *EDIT* is out of touch. Oh well. It is very funny that you say that you respect our rules, however you do not when you come to the forums. Perhaps, you should read the rules over again. The first thing that it says is "No Profanity". You have posted two times, and both times have had to be edited for Profanity, which we do not allow. If you must curse, then go ahead and do it all you want too, but the second you type it, it becomes premeditated and warrants our immediate attention. The same goes for the Forums as well as the Servers. If I were to have muddy shoes on my feet and come dragging it on your white carpet at your house, would you have a problem with it? I would venture to say that the answer is, yes, you would! If that is the case, then don't drag your trash into the House Of God!! He reigns supreme here, not the world of secularism. Good Day, Sir!!

Again with the lack of respect, D1rk -- when a forum admin locks a thread, that means that the topic is finished -- and therefore, starting another thread on the same topic only shows your lack of respect. This is your final warning -- start another thread on this topic, and you will be banned from the forums as well as from the servers.

Furthermore, if you think that using language from the gutters is something that a "clean upstanding member of the AA community" should be doing -- then no offense meant, but we don't want you on our servers. We have impressionable teenagers (and even younger) in our clan; their parents have entrusted them into our care because we keep our servers clear of the riffraff who think that swearing makes them look cool and grown-up (when in actuality, it just makes them look like cretins with poor vocabulary skills -- "Hey, I'm too dumb to think of anything intelligent to say, so I'll just throw in a swear word, and nobody will be able to tell what an idiot I am!" PUH-LEAZE!!).

BOTTOM LINE: It is extremely rude for you to come in here and tell us how to run our servers and forum. How would you take it if one of us went over to your servers and forum and told you that the way that you run them is completely wrong? (BTW -- apparently there's more people than just us that like the way we do things, since it's almost impossible to get into our servers during prime playing hours -- even with all the kicks that happen when certain server guests aren't quite intelligent enough to realize that "NO PROFANITY" means "NO PROFANITY" !)

Think about it -- unless you're a paying member of our clan, you really have nothing to say about how we run our servers and forum. You've made a suggestion, we've considered it, you've been told that your suggestion has absolutely no merit whatsoever, since it violates everything that our clan was built around and has stood for over the last three years.
