That happens when you get severe packet loss(your ISP or Internet connection crashes) and PB can't make queries to your PB files(<---I'm paraphrasing here, can't remember the exact verb-age, lol). Your problem may be different though. Mine specifically said MD5 tool error, can't querie. If yours says "mismatch", it may be a whole other matter.

The check that is failing for several people is this one (pulled off AASA's public MD5 check list):
pb_sv_md5tool w "2.6.0" v Animations/A-USMods.ukx SZ2044782 AT252336 LEN256 3E0843D7095F33F25A73013921ED5985
People are getting kicked because the MD5 hash for A-USMods.ukx does not equal that big long hex string at the end of the line. I think it's probably a problem with the check, not with your file, although you may want to check to see if your America's Army\Animations\A-USMods.ukx has a date different than the rest of the files. On my clean (goes without saying) 2.6 install, my a-usmods.ukx file is dated 9/26/2005 2:18PM and is 2,044,782 bytes long. Maybe someone who has been kicked for this check can post their file properties so we can compare.
I know that I haven't been kicked for this check, so I'm not sure what's going on...But I have played far less over the last week or so than most of you do...

Im kicked for it 3 times now. But my file is exactly the same as yours Dave; same date, same amount of bytes. Only the date of the usmods is the same as the date of all the other files in animations, only the file objects has an other date. I dont get it...

I think Dave is right, my file is 1,997KB and last updated on 5/7/2005 at 10:43 PM. Tried PBsetup.exe and some files were updated but not that file. Peace told me that incrimental updates(2.4 to 2.5 to 2.6 which is the way I updated) leaves trash behind. He told me that even though its a pain, to download the whole game fresh with each new version. Incrimental patches tend to leave to much trash behind which is evident by what Dave has shown. And it doesn't seem like the updates from PB overwrite these older files. So unless someone can come up with another way, guess I am going to have to trash the old AA and download the full 2.6 version.

Mine was reported as 1,997KB in the explorer window, but if you check the file properties you can see the actual file size. It has to do with 1KB = 1024 bytes instead of 1000 bytes. The file date (or contents) are probably doing it. I think it's a good idea to do an un-install and re-install. I heard someone on Vent say that updating PB manually (PBWEB.EXE I think) helped. Good luck!! Dave

I seriously think is due to an AASA outdated update. When Jeff gets back to update the AASA md file checks, this issue will go away
