Is it possible to have two MOUT servers for -=Of-God=-? It seems like it's always full since it's the most popular map. thanks

No, there are too many other great maps out there to limit ourselves like that.

Yep, Jeff's right, alot of other good maps out there although I only stick to 3 of'em Plus I get huge lag and low FPS on MOUT so it's nice to have multiple choices to choose from :coolspeak:

But it does seem that one or two of the servers are "wasted" at times without any people playing on them.

No, they are not wasted, usually when Jeff switches the server to a new map, it takes around a day or so for people to see that our server is on that particualar map and then it'll fill up. Yes, as you can see, the two other servers aren't seeing much action because they were put there yesterday and it hasn't ben noticed by alot of people yet, but don't worry it will. In some cases, the server won't be busy at all, and Jeff (Peace) may switch the server to a different map if that happens.

I must say, I'm surprised at how much play #2 has gotten since Thursday night when I switched it to River Basin -- there's almost always been someone on -- at a couple of points, it was full, and there were 3-4 slots on the McKenna server open. And here I thought that only five of us liked that map (it used to be on my top 3 list, probably should be again!)! And #1 has tanked on Extraction since Thursday, so it's going elsewhere tonight -- based on the available data, I'd say it's probably headed to SF Sandstorm (another great "forgotten" map) next.

I don't mind River Basin. I've played all the maps(except the newest ones with 2.5) for a decent amount of hours because of TWL/CAL training/practices. I need to start playing other maps more than just MOUT McKenna, but I very much dread playing on servers with like 10 or less people. There's no fun in that. I like full servers and I love our servers, which is why I play on our #3 so much.

I usually play on #3 only for these reasons: 1. Like most people know who played often with me I have my good and bad days. I got kicked from other servers because I was "hacking". Our server is very clean about this, tho I have been called on our server a hacker too 2. Clean language 3. Nice people 4. No VK abuse

I loved it that the number 1 was on Bridge Crossing, although it wasnt full all the time, some times people were on it(including me) But I can't play SF Sandstorm, because I don't have my E&E.

I know for me personally I totally enjoy having a good selection on non-mout servers. I'm not much of a mout player but really love playing some of the other maps. Above all i like playing them on a home clan server (-=Of-God=-). I appreciate having the choices I have here!

I love Hospital, but I really lag on it. Marcus Wow, that was the exact meaing of off-topic. I personally have absolutely no clue where that came from lol. The problem for me is that I stink (I mean worse than normal) at a map if I haven't gotten at least 15 hours on it, so I tend to stay to my noob maps, Bridge, MOUT, a little Wep Cache. All other maps I am totally lost and end up shooting the wrong people... :bag: (like on River Basin, Jeff)

I like the other maps. I always get on vent and find Randy, Tim, and Sarge. These guys ae great fun to play with. They have got me really liking courtyard and hospital. It helps for noobs to find some vets on vent to help you learn new maps and how to play them. In short, Keep all the servers on different maps because it gives us a chance to reach more folks. It is almost always the same folks on Mout.

Yes, #1 and #3 are both on MOUT, but that's because we're going through a bit of a transition in our servers. The current #1 and #2 will likely be gone by Monday at the latest, probably earlier; the current #3 will be around at least another month or so. By the end of next week, we should have a new honor server up and running on a ClanServers host, to see if they're any better in the lag department. Theoretically, CS servers should run AA better, since they're on Windows instead of Linux (as GD is) -- the Linux port of the AA server is rather buggy, from all that I've heard. If CS is better, then we'll shut down the #3 on GD in mid-February and pick up another server or two from CS. So yes, we do have two servers on MOUT at the moment -- but it's only temporary -- just trying to get what's left of our money's worth out of the #1 server before it's gone.

That's great! The thought of maybe getting less lag is well......nice. Is there a price difference?
