Gentlemen and Ladies: I have been having problems with my computer and could use some help. It is a Dell Pentium 4 - 1.38 ghz with 256 mb ram. It came with a 32mb video card which I recently upgraded to a Nvidia GeForce 5200 with 128mb. Now the problem - when I load AA and play, it seems darker than it normally is on my wife's machine (a slightly faster dell 1.8 ghz Dell with 64mb video card and 512 mb ram), and as soon as I am killed, my screen goes almost completley black although I can seem some points of light and hear ok. I have tried changing the video settings (which are numerous with this particular video card) until I am blue in the face. Does anyone have any suggestions short of my continuing to use my wife's computer and/or buying a new machine. Many Thanks David

I've had that problem, its a conflict between the video card and the cpu or motherboard or monitor, never did figure it out though. My brother says a new monitor fixed it though. Try the new monitor that should help.
Oh, It was an nvidia too
