I have their 1st cd. My favorite song on it is "Glory Defined." Space In Between Us is good also. I haven't heard or bought their new one. I want it though!! Did you know their name comes from Ephesians 4:29. They are "building" upon that scripture.

There are way too many good Christian groups for me to list. I particularly enjoy Casting Crowns, Third Day, Warren Barfield, Chris Tomlin, Tree 63, and By The Tree. I play Bass for the Praise Band at my church and sometimes we will cover songs by these artists as a special.

I like alot of them but probably my favorites are the Imperials (lol i know Jedi, Imps) and the Gaithers, had to add this, Elvis Presley has some of the best gospel music well at least the kind I like.

I've recently gotten into Relient K. Like them a lot. For the past... who knows how many years I've always like DC Talk, Newsboys. I REALLY like The Waiting, but a lot of people I talk to dont know about them. If you have heard of em... awsome. Elvis' stuff really rocks. hehe. (no joke... I love Elvis)

Seriously, though, one of my favorite songs of my earlier years was their "Home Where I Belong" ... I still love that song (may have to turn to my left and crank out a rough rendition of it on my Yamaha, just for old times' sake -- actually, I just stopped my typing and did just that, didn't sound half bad, either -- hope it didn't wake up the Princess or the Peacelings )!

Started listening to P.O.D. lately and I can say they have some nice songs... Although I do like some heavier bands some times...

Chevelle, though typically not recognized as a Christian band, has a lot of lyrics talking about Christian ideals and having a relationship with Jesus and God. I have been listening to Chevelle a lot. I have all of their CDs on my computer and am 99% sure that they don't use any profanity. So I would recommend them. They are hard/alternative rock.
One song I would definitely recommend by them is "Grab Thy Hand".

Found a new/dead one.
FIVE IRON FRENZY
A great ska (I know, that kinda cancels out) band that died in the 90's. Relient K started mostly because of them and they share some of the same humor.

Grab "Forfeit", "Mia", "Still Running", and "Emotional Drought" if you can. "Grab Thy Hand" is off the Wonder What's Next album.

Chevelle has come out and told everyone they are not a christian band anymore, at one of there concerts they told the audience that they were no longer christian, and they were swearing and useing profanity. Although their first album they claimed to be christians but they have obviously changed.

That's odd, seeing as how most of the songs I know with Christian themes in them are from their latest CD "Wonder What's Next". But, okay.

I've been listening to Rebecca St. James lately, I really like her music! The songs from her album 'Transform' are great. Does anybody else like her music? I also like Avalon, Casting Crowns, Mark Schultz, Nichole Nordeman, Point of Grace, Steven Curtis Chapman, Third Day, just to name a few.
