Chevelle, though typically not recognized as a Christian band, has a lot of lyrics talking about Christian ideals and having a relationship with Jesus and God. I have been listening to Chevelle a lot. I have all of their CDs on my computer and am 99% sure that they don't use any profanity. So I would recommend them. They are hard/alternative rock. One song I would definitely recommend by them is "Grab Thy Hand". Chevelle has come out and told everyone they are not a christian band anymore, at one of there concerts they told the audience that they were no longer christian, and they were swearing and useing profanity. Although their first album they claimed to be christians but they have obviously changed. Sigh, thats a bummer.. I remeber listening to them on an online Radio, and they were just being introduced to the world..Too bad they couldn't go mainstream yet maintain there Christian values.. Like what U2 has done. Anberlin is a great band ;D Jaime

So, I take it that no one here has heard of Five Iron Frenzy!?! Wow. Kinda surprising really. They are the band that inspired Relient K.
They're a ska band and, being a trumpet player, I fell in love instantly.

Ja, they're dead. They actually made a CD called "The end is near/here" it's 2 discs and the second one is their last concert live.

Yes indeed, that was a great concert tour last year, Brittany ... Princess and I drove halfway across the state for it! We also got to see Casting Crowns this year on the Lifesong tour (they got a bit closer to us, too, made it easier! ) -- it was a great experience!

Chevelle is still a good band, just not Christian. =/
I've slowly gotten into some Christian rock music and I'd say that DC Talk is a good one. Same with East West.
