HELP! Okay, so I was looking at the House -=Of-God=- server browsers a couple of days ago and noticed that #2 is now on Interdiction. Not only that, but when I looked there was about 7 or 8 players on it. Great! I can get on and play with some people who know what is happening and just follow them. Anyway, an hour later when I could finally get some AA time in, it was empty. I played for a few rounds anyway, trying to get a feel for it, and did okay, I guess. Once I learned to get underground as soon as possible I did okay anyway. Can anyone give me some tips on this map. I have gone underground and interogated the guy, but what do I do next? Apart from die. I know how to do that.

the second objective is to find the briefcase, retrieve it and escape.. I have the getting killed part down, but am still working on the others. I like the map for practice when it is empty, but it is really fun if the server is mostly full.

Wander around until you find objective C. It appears randomly, which can be a real pain, especially when it ends up in a very heavily guarded area, so there are really no hard and fast rules to handle it with.
General tips: - Turn your brightness and gamma up. It has the same effect as night vision without restricting your peripheral vision. This can be done by opening the console and typing in "brightness 1" and "gamma 1".
- Don't stop shooting at the target until he goes to hide or until you see him drop. The devs made it so that your weapons become ridiculously inaccurate when shooting at AIs, otherwise the human players would completely dominate on AI maps, so on average it takes about 4 times as many bullets to kill an AI as it would a human.
- Try to avoid the BMP that cruises around the level. It's a terrible way to die and it's a real pain to kill, even with the ATR and M203. Unless you hit it in the rear with the ATR, it will take an additional M203 to bring it down, and most of the time your heavy weapons guy either doesn't make it or is out of position to attack the BMP.
- Fortunately, flashbangs do work on AI, so if you see a group of them together, toss a flash at them and mow them all down with the SAW or RPK. - Make sure you get to the dock area before the QRF does. If you allow the QRF to populate the dock, it becomes much, much harder to secure it in order to move through safely.
Extraction: - The ideal exfiltration points from the facility are located at the south bunker entrance (accessed on blue level) and the abandoned house basement. The south entrance is usually the safest, as you'll rarely have enemies behind you as you come out, unlike the house. It's usually a good idea to go out the way you came so that you can be sure the area is at least reasonably secure.
- Whatever you do, don't try to go out through the loading dock exit. It's a deathtrap. There's no cover from enemies on foot and if the BMP or one of the BTR-80s comes along, you're dead meat. The only reason you should go out there is to wait on the QRF. Even then, you should wait in the hallway and not the actual dock tunnel.
Breaching the bunker: - The quintessential insertion point is the abandoned house basement. If you want to be very secure, you can circle the house and toss frag grenades into the windows to kill any tangos inside, but the simplest strategy is just to run into the cellar as fast as you can. Watch out though, I've lost half my squad to AI camping out in the basement before. Be sure to stop sprinting right as you get to the stairs so you can bring your weapon up and flip the fire mode selector to automatic. Alternatively, let the guy with the SAW go first.
- The second insertion point is quieter and allows you to access more of the facility faster. Unfortunately, it's also more heavily guarded on the surface, which can make for some problems fighting your way there.
- The third entrance is an often overlooked one: the well. If you use a door-breacher on the boards over the well, you can drop into the well and crawl through the air vents to access either the blue level hallways or the server room. The hallway is generally safer because you have a larger field of view coming out, but the server room will give you a straight shot at the loading dock area, which is near where the informant sometimes is.
- Dock tunnel entrance = suicide.
- Where you insert is going to depend on the number of people and the style of the group. Mass deployment can be done by sending all 9 people through the basement of the house, squads can be split by sending one fire team to the south entrance and one to the house, or you could send one squad through the well and the rest through the house. Unless you're feeling lucky or very good, I would discourage going through the dock tunnel.
Hope that helps.

I usually like to go South at the start of the round. I can clean up the area for extraction if i dont die heh . If want to go south, you have to be careful. You must look around and move fast and ..slow.. and...fast.... If u see an AI in distance, just take your time. Aim for the head. Allways!! Priit

blow up the well with a door breacher and jump down it works great but not if you get shot

i found out that using your had earned E&E tricks (crawling) don't fool the AI...they can see you, even if you cant see them....which is kinda messed up in my view....its foggy and grassy....you should be able tyo hide a little bit...but i guess not

What Zilla said. Make sure whoever is machine-gunning on that level is good. They'll be doing most of the killing simply because of their ability to put a large volume of fire out in a short period of time. Since you're handicapped when firing at AI, rate of fire helps more than accuracy of fire. Times like that make me wish I had a German MG42 with an assault handle instead of the SAW Can't beat 8mm rounds at 1800 rounds per minute...
