Quick question for you veteran players: I have gotten very low scores on the shoothouse part of BCT. What tips can you give me to bring my score up to that 10,000 point level? Thanks and Lord Bless, -=Bill=- (read it in the Bible here)

It took me numerous tries to pass the shoothouse, I sped up some and didn't try to get every bad guy in the room. I don't have any tips but don't give up, God bless -=Bill=-
keep checking, there be some more replies from othes who can help ;D

- Select the M4A1 carbine, you'll need its higher ammunition capacity if you just want to scrape past - Always use the semi-automatic fire mode. Automatic is useless, as it burns through your ammunition quickly and it only takes one shot to drop a target - Only iron sight in if the OPFOR target you're engaging is smaller than the diameter of your crosshair - If the target is larger than that, just hip-shoot. You should be able to hip-shoot all of the targets in the first room and the corridor - Keep moving. If you miss one target, keep moving toward the door to the next room and search for more - Speed is of essence, but less so than accuracy. Keep moving if you can, but if you must stop to take a shot, then by all means do it. - As long as you kill 30 targets or so, you should be good to go. You don't have to kill every bad guy to finish the test. - If something jumps out at you, take a second to look at it to make sure it's what you want to shoot. You get massive penalties for killing friendlies, so check your fire. - Don't use flashbangs. They are just a waste of time in the shoot house, as you can easily clear a room without using up precious time to switch to and throw them.
I've done the shoot house countless times and I finally got it down to where I could finish a run in under 60 seconds with no friendly fire incidents, 40+ kills, and about 85% accuracy. I'm pretty bad at MOUT in the multiplayer game, so if a neophyte like me can do it, you could definitely handle yourself. It just takes some practice. With some work and a little luck, you'll find 10,000 points coming easy to you.

Yep, use the M4A1 on single-shot ... that's your best bet for increasing your "accuracy" score (since if you hit the same target three times on full-auto, it only counts as 1 hit for 3 bullets). And while speed is important, accuracy is more so. I usually finish in around 80-90 seconds, but with high kill and accuracy scores ... my normal score is around 12,000 ... I think my high was 14,900. BTW, welcome to our forum, Bill -- nice to meet you!
