First of all I want to thank whoever is responsible for starting/maintaining this clan, I was SO happy to find you guys on the top of the team list. I'm just a noob, so knowing there ARE people out there who won't bite my head off/swear at me/votekick me when I get accidental ROE is really comforting too... So I was playing a couple co-ops today (interdiction and snake plain) and I wasn't able to pull out any of my grenades. This lasted for quite a few rounds on both maps.. I had plenty of nades, so it's not like I was out of them or anything... Has anyone had this problem/know how to fix it? Thanks again so much and God bless!!

This sort of issue can happen with reloading your primary firearm also, but I have never heard of it occuring through multiple rounds.... try dropping your nades (without pulling the pin ) and picking them up again; it may help.

see the problem is, when I press 2 or 3 or any other nade button, it doesn't even switch to my nade, it doesn't switch from my gun at all....

Thanks for stopping by, and for the kind words -- we're here to help. If you're carrying two weapons (one in your hands and one slung on your shoulder), you won't be able to pull out a grenade, because your character has to sling his rifle over his shoulder to pull out a grenade, and only one weapon can be slung at a time. You can swap your carried and shouldered weapons using the "SwapHands" command (which is bound to the "1" key by default). There are a couple of ways that you can get two weapons. The more obvious way, of course, is to pick up a weapon that a player has left behind (usually after his or her demise); this is done by aiming at the weapon at close range and hitting your "Action" key (default is "F", but a lot of die-hard old-schoolers like me still use "E" for that command ). The other method is to select a team slot in which you are issued two weapons by default; several of the slots on Interdiction, Sledgehammer, SnakePlain, and other popular maps have two weapons as part of the default equipment -- usually a rifle (M16, M4A1, etc.) and an AT4 or BDM rocket launcher (useful for taking out the OpFor's heavy equipment or opening holes in certain walls). I'm guessing that the latter of these is what was happening with you (that you had a rocket launcher in addition to your rifle), since you said that it continued through several rounds. To be able to use a grenade in that situation, you'll need to drop the weapon in your hands using the "ThrowWeapon" command (the default key for this is "BACKSPACE"), and then you can hit the appropriate key to switch to the grenade or door-breaching charge that you need to use -- just don't forget to pick up your other weapon again after throwing the nade or breaching the door/gate/grate . Hope this info helps ... feel free to ask any other questions that you might have as well -- or to continue this question, if that didn't help . ~ Jeff / Peace-=Of-God=-

A lot of the slots have multiple weapons to start out with.

OK yes I'm pretty sure that's what it was, I usually pick up fallen comrade's weapons, and on snake plain I think I had an AT4 in addition to my sopmod.... so that would explain it. thanks for the help.

I can't stand people like that. Glad you found us, though,
