I was just reading about Ezra's plight and being new to the AA community, I am wondering about this. Can my account be hacked? And more to the point, WHY? What is there about a higher honor that makes it so appealing that someone would want to hack someones legitimate account? And am I and others in danger of this? Please let a nOOb know the score. Thanks. Bro Jeff a.k.a. [shadow=red,left,300][glow=red,2,300] †_FC_†™[/glow][/shadow] p.s. I am also sorry that this problem has caused Ezra to leave the AA community. I will miss you bro.

As far as I know, and I'm relatively new to this as well, any account can be hacked. All they have to do is find your password and screenname. As far as why they do it, it may be for honor or it may be that you killed them one too many times and they got upset and decided to hack you or it may be simply to challenge themselves. Those are my guesses. I would slightly doubt it being for honor or else those 100 honor guys would be in some real danger but maybe. Also, if you're that desperate, I'm pretty sure you can buy accounts on E-Bay so why not buy a 100 honor account, played with a guy the other day who I think probably did this.
BTW, Ezra did leave twice before cause his account was hacked. However, his most recent leaving wasn't because of that, at least I don't think it was.

The best solution is to change your password every now and then, it helps to keep hackers away since it isn't the same password all the time. I don't change my password since my account is too embarassing to hack
