he he ha ha so true.. so true. I can clean up the kitchen and living room 3 times a day and it is still a mess when my husband gets home from work and he wonders what I have been doing all day.

Lol. While I might not be a husband, I'm certainly my own housekeeper. I do my laundry and dishes; clean up my room, bathroom, and the kitchen. Everything! I don't mind it. Some of you are thinking "Well you won't have to do all that when you're married!" Pfft. I doubt it. Lol. It's a different society we live in now-a-days. Plus, I wouldn't want to put all of that stress on the wife anyway.

Been there, done that. Even as the kids get older it's still hard to keep it all together. Thankfully Jeff will do laundry and he's pretty good about keeping his side of the office clean. I'm the messy, he's the ducks in a row guy. His garbage duties have been taken over by his son (he gets a nickel a chore) and the older peacelings help me with the dishes (also a nickel a chore). Bethany sets the table (another nickel) and all the Peacelings fold their own laundry (I have to help Bethany) so actually there is nothing else that he really has to do. So you may wonder why the house gets so messy. I wonder about that too. Is it me or do aliens come in and invade my home and make it a mess.

I'm actually a reasonably-skilled cook (although sometimes the Peacelings don't appreciate my culinary capabilities ). But since I don't really like cooking (or cleaning up the mess afterwards ), and Princess actually does like cooking, I usually leave that department in her very capable hands.
