Hey Guys, we just got a mac at church, and its like a SUPER awsome computer. So, we got all the cool programs installed like parallels desktops and such. Well, when I installed AA it told me I needed to do this: Please enable Direct3D acceleration. You can do this by starting dxdiag and enabling Direct3d Acceleration in the Display1/2 tab after installing DirectX 8.1b (or later) and the latest drivers for your graphics card.
So... what does this mean? I guess this is directed more at the Hudlow's since they use macs... could you help me? thx -Strat

Start, Run, type dxdiag and click OK. See if you have Direct X installed. No reason it shouldn't run on parallels as far a i know.
I run boot camp on my mac instead, but I can fiddle around with a mac at work with parallels if need be.

I was looking on the mac support section of the AA forums, and thats whats worked best so far. I think i'll try that the next time I get the chance since bootcamp is free. (as far as I know).

Yep, bootcamp is free as in free. In other words, it's free. Just have your XP cd handy to do the install and you'll be good to go. Also, have a blank cd handy, bootcamp makes a driver cd for you during the install(XP drivers).
