Today I was playing on a other server (of-god server was resetting ) Some guy there started a votekick. He wanted to vote a other guy out, but the votesaid f.e. Bull3tproof started a vote to vote Bull3tproof due ROE... If you try to vote for another person, you will start a vote against yourself. Is that something to appy on -=Of-God=- server? I hope this is clear for you... Otherwise I will try to explain it, let me know! Regards

I don't believe that has/will happen on the server. Usually if a votekick starts on the server, an -=Of-God=- member will put the kabosh on it before it goes any further. If someone continuallisly tries to votekick a person while on #1, then they wlll more than likely be kicked by an LC member or a Sever Admin. (a 15-minute ban most likely).

Also, I could be wrong but when you try to votekick someone for camping then it starts a votekick on yourself (atleast I think 2.2 or 2.3 did) Oh and Sean, fyi, it doesn't have to be a Server Admin or an Lc, Regular members can kick too ya know.

Camping is allowed on the server, right, and voting not. You can solve 2 problems with one move. I play a lot lately on the server, and there is not always an -=of-God=- member online... So the pple just have to stop voting, or getting themselves voted out of the game

Correct me if I'm wrong, Jeff, because I didn't look it up but I think it's: - New member -- 25
- Regular member -- 50
- Veteran member -- 75
- Server admin -- 100

How do you know which slot they are anyway (how do you find it)...and also, how many points does it take to "kick" someone.

When to kick, how to kick. You are able to kick (if you have 25, 50, or 75 pb_power) at all times except when an admin or an LC is present.

You'll find out in the links that Innovation gave you. But for a quick answer, type in PB_POWER into the console to get the slot number.
And I believe it takes 25 points to kick someone.

Any member of our clan can kick at anytime by pb_kick the slot of the rule-breaker if there is no admin,LC member, or Jeff there.

Actually I think it only takes 10 points (on a default PB server everone has 1 point so it takes 10 people to votekick with PB).

Ah. Now I understand the confusion. Source: www.evenbalance.com/publications/admins/#settingsMost servers have minimum of 10 (probably because most clan leaders aren't as smart as Jeff and don't know how to change it ;D), but apparently our server has it set to 25.

Right-o, that's what it is. Our server files set the minimum PB_POWER required to kick at 25 points -- and then we give all our members and close friends 25 points or more, and all guests get 0 points. Now, the real confusion in this thread is that you're comparing apples to oranges. Specifically, the "votekick" command is a UT game engine command, while the PB_KICK command is a PB server command. The "votekick" command cannot be disabled (unfortunately), and so we do have the rule in the server scroller that says "votekick not, that ye be not kicked" (or words to that effect ). The PB_SV_POWERMIN command that Paul referenced above has no effect on stopping the "votekick" game-engine command, only for setting the vote-point-level at which people can be kicked by the PB_KICK command (and that vote-point-level also has nothing to do with the "votekick" command). Also, because we do force guests to a PB_POWER level of 0 rather than 1, they cannot even initiate a PB_KICK; therefore, they try to use the "votekick" command -- and then we remove them from the server for disrespecting the server admins. (That's all the "votekick" is anyway -- it's the player saying, "Admin , you're doing a crummy job of running this server -- if I were admin, this guy would be gone, so I'm gonna try to get rid of him my way, no matter what your server rules say." But our members' use of the PB_KICK is the way that we enforce our server rules without an admin needing to be present -- that's the difference.

I was talking about when there is no member with PB online...
Is 25 PB enough to kick at all time? (when someone broke a rule etc. etc.)

Right, when I said "votekick with PB" I didn't really mean a true votekick, but if everyone has 1 PB point it can be used as a votekick because the 1-point pb_kicks are accumulative, unless of course I'm completely mistaken (which wouldn't be a much of a surprise )... BTW, oranges are better than apples. ;D EDIT: Yes, on our server 25 PB points are enough to instantly kick.
